A-Form It is the License issue by the canal office, Alleppey to the houseboat under section 1098 Act VI. It includes:- 1) License No 2) Owners name & Address 3) houseboat building place, year 4) boat house width, length, depth 5) Total weight houseboat 6) Date of expiry Form D This certificate issued by the Chief Inspector of Boats, Ernakulam, Kochi-31 It is divided in two parts one is PART1- Machinery & second one is PART 2- Stability and Equipment. It includes:- Part 1 – Machinery 1) No of the certificate 2) owner name & address 3) Vessel name 4) residence place 5) year of built 6) Nature of fuel used 7) period of certificate 8) No of passengers Part 2 – Stability and Equipment 1) No of the certificate 2) Description of the vessel 3) vessel hull is good or not 4) how may life buoys, life Jacket, Lights, Ropes, Buckets, First aid box 5) Protection against fire 6) Nature of repair & Renewal 7) Certificate period Kerala State Pollution Control Board It is consent to operate house boating in alleppey, issued under water (Prevention & Control Pollution) Act 1974 & environment (protection) Act, 1986 Includes :- 1) Name & address of the establishment 2) occupier details 3) category 4) scale 5) capital investment 6) water consumption 7) Engine Type & No Important condition as follows 1) Maximum quantity of effluent discharged per day shall not exceed 500 liters/day 2) Service register shall be maintained for recording number of passengers utilized the houseboat for trip, date &duration of the trip 3) Use eco friendly bags and container (plates, glass) in the houseboat 4) Diesel generator set installed in the boat shall conform to environment protection 5) Annual inspection shall be conducted before the renewal of the statutory license |
